STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:

  • BRING YOUR 6 WEEK POWERPOINTGRADING RUBRIC EACH DAY.
  • You will need to keep track to ensure you have included all concepts.
  • Work quickly to meet deadline
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of PowerPoint by completing the 6 Weeks Production Test: Music PowerPoint

ACTIVITIES:

1) Warm-up: Spend the first 10 minutes studying for your 6 Weeks Quia Exam. Go to the following websites and study.

REMEMBER QUIA TEST OVER POWERPOINT TOMORROW DURING CLASS - IS PART OF YOUR 6 WEEKS EXAM GRADE - WHICH WILL COUNT THREE TIMES IN THE 40% PORTION OF YOUR AVERAGE. SO STUDY A LOT!!

3) 6 WEEK PROJECT DUE THIS WEEK ON FRIDAY, 2/22

  • (NO LATE WORK will be accepted for this project as the end of the six weeks is Friday, 2/22)
  • This week you will be creating a presentation that you will need to include all areas we have covered in PowerPoint.
  • Save this project as: YOURFIRSTNAME-Music PPT (example: Elizabeth-Music PPT)
  • The proper transitions, sounds effects, animation, a chart, bullets, I will have a handout with the rubric indicating what your powerpoint must include with the point value.
  • Download and print out if needed (so you can write on it, to keep track of where you are) Music PowerPoint Rubric - download if needed
  • It is YOUR responsibility to keep track of where you are with the project.
  • Posting daily explaining (summarizing) what you did with your project will be helpful for you. No daily screenshots, just a summary of what you did and where you are in your project is all you need to do on Tuesday-Thursday. Title the post: Tuesday's -Summary, Wednesday's - Summary, Thursday's - Summary
  • On Friday, you will make your last post for the assignment. As well as place it in the Electronic Turn in Folder. Make sure you post your REFLECTION next your assignment. (see Music PowerPoint Rubic - download if needed document)
  • Screenshot your assignment in 6 slides per layout on Friday. So, you should only have 1-2 screenshot to post on Friday, 2/22

4) Last 10 minutes - we will do Rags to Riches all together to review
