TODAY'S ASSIGNMENTS:

1) No warm-up today. I want you to READ MY WHOLE BLOG ENTRY AND GET STARTED ON YOUR PRODUCTION TEST!!

2) PowerPoint Production TestIf you are behind with the PowerPoint assignments, please stop working on the daily activities and begin working on the Production Test, I am assigning today.YOU ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO COMPLETE 4 OF THE 6 PRODUCTION TEST ASSIGNMENTS. YOU PICK WHICH 4 YOU WANT TO COMPLETE.The following are the production test page numbers and documents you will need. Please read everything here on my blog and in the textbook very carefully.

YOU WILL BE SAVING YOUR FILES TO YOUR FOLDER IN THE ELECTRONIC TURN IN FOLDER. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE EVERYTHING TO YOUR SERVER FIRST. BE SURE TO SAVE THESE FILES WITH THE CORRECT FILE NAME OR I WILL TAKE POINTS OFF.

If you get finished today, please take a DDC test for bonus points or go back and make sure you have all assignments completed.

Happy Valentines Day! I have a small little present for each of you, but I will have to give it to you tomorrow. I am sorry to have to be gone again today. There is just too much going on in life. :) I need for yall to be very well behaved again today, just like I know you can.

I need for you to start taking your PowerPoint Production Exam today. It will take a couple of days to get them completely finished but we need to start today. We will do a Quia test next Tuesday/Wednesday over PowerPoint Lesson 3 "6 weeks exam". Please follow the instructions listed below.

1) WARM-UP: Learn2type->http://learn2type.com/TypingTest or Mavis Typing (timed tests) Post WPM to your wordplanner spreadsheet on the right side of spreadsheet

2) Complete the following PowerPoint Assignments. You will be opening files from your server and editing them.


  • 2/13, pg. 577-578, Open from your Server xxx-Annual Awards Sound; Save as xxx-Annual Awards Transitions (screenshot slides from Slide Sorter View; post to your blog)

  • 2/13, pg. 578, Open from your Server xxx-Secretary Title Master; Save as xxx-Secretary Text (screenshot slides from Slide Sorter View; post to your blog)

  • 2/13, pg. 579, Open from your Server xxx-Annual Awards Transistion; Save as xxx-Annual Awards Graphic (screenshot slides from Slide Sorter View; post to your blog)

3) New Post ~ title it PowerPoint Vocabulary #3 Type the words below in a new post. Then using the glossary in the back of the textbook, type the definitions to each word. (DUE TODAY)

2) No new assignments today.
  • Catch up day forALL OF US (me included).
  • I need to work and grade your work from last week. I will not be able to do this if I am interrupted constantly.
  • This is your chance to finish any work you did not get finished last week. You will need to refer to my blog posts for Feb. 4-8 for assigned tasks. Make sure you have everything completed, posted, or printed out (based on the assignment requirements).
  • If you finished everything from last week and have everything turned in, posted, printed out, etc. then I would like for you to take one DDC Testing Center exam, record your grade on your spreadsheet (for bonus points); then you can have free time.

3) No new PowerPoint assignments today or posts today. Make sure you have all of the following assignments complete and posted to your blog by the end of the period today.
