STUDENT EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS WEEKS ASSIGNMENTS:
You will create a presentation from a blank presentation.
You will be creating a presentation using a design template.
You will customize a design template and a slide layout.
You will import text from word to create a presentation.

1) WARM-UP: Learn2type->http://learn2type.com/TypingTest or Mavis Typing (timed tests) Post WPM to your workplanner spreadsheet on the right side of spreadsheet

2) New Assignments:

* Post the following vocabulary words and their definitions in a New Blog Post. Title the post PowerPoint Vocabulary #2. Look the definitions up in the glossary.

• design template
• slide layout

* 1/24, pg 530-531, Open Blank presenation, Save As: xxx-Kickoff
(screenshot slides 1 & 2; Go to File, select Print, then select Handouts, 2=slides per page); If your computer is not showing color when you go to Preview it on the screen in handout layout, please let me know immediately, and I will show you how I want you to post your screenshots.

* 1/24, Read pg 533, Exercise begins pg 534-535, Save As: xxx-Upcoming Trips (yes this is a Word document, read directions) (screenshot slides 1, 2 & 3; I will show you exactly what I want; but you will be taking a screenshot in the Slide Sorter View)

Then you can start where you left off from the day before. It is YOUR responsibility to keep track of what assignment you are on.
